Rosewood embodies a legacy of conservative and sound business practices. |
A survivor of the Great Depression, David's father instilled in him a sense of fiscal responsibility evident today in Rosewood's financial strength and liquidity. As evidence, Rosewood Homes has NEVER appeared on either of the Department of Real Estate's lists of financially troubled builders, has NEVER missed a subcontractor payment, and has NEVER had a subcontractor lien filed against any of its homes. In fact, Rosewood often self-funds its construction thereby avoiding costly bank financing. Unlike most Arizona builders, Rosewood Homes also guarantees the safety of each homebuyer's Earnest Money by placing these funds in neutral escrow within an FDIC insured institution until the home closes escrow.

Rosewood's employees and craftsmen are among the best in the industry. |
Prior to establishing Rosewood Homes, David was Region President for one of America's largest and most respected homebuilders where he successfully supervised operations for over 1,500 homes per year representing over $500 Million in annual revenues. More importantly, David and his team have been recognized three times as "Builder of the Year" by the Homebuilders Association of Central Arizona including the coveted "Grand Award" making David one of the only 3-time "Builder of the Year" recipients anywhere in America. Over the past 25+ years, David's team has earned dozens of awards and been among the most recognized homebuilders in the Southwest. Locally, Rosewood's VP of Operations is one of just a handful of Arizonans to have earned the prestigious National Housing Quality Silver Award from the National Association of Homebuilders. He and his team of Construction Superintendents average an impressive 25-years of homebuilding experience. Likewise, Rosewood only selects the most experienced craftsman to construct its homes often having 15-20+ years of working history with its trade partners. Rosewood also utilizes high quality brand components in its homes such as General Electric, Lennox, Delta, Kohler and other leading brands rather than using less expensive "builder brands." Most recently, Rosewood Homes was honored by its peers as the "Small Volume Builder of the Year" at the Phoenix Metro MAME XXVIII Awards.

Rosewood earned the highest overall customer satisfaction score in America in 2010, 2011 and 2012! |
In 2010, 2011 and 2012, Rosewood Homes earned the prestigious "Hombuyers' Choice Award" from Eliant by having the highest overall Customer Satisfaction Score in America, beating out 200+ builders representing over 1,500 new home neighborhoods. In addition to being recognized for providing the "Best Overall Purchase & Ownership Experience" in America, homeowners also recognized Rosewood Homes for providing the "Best Construction Experience," the "Best Customer Service Experience," and for having the "Best Overall First Year Quality." In part, Rosewood has accomplished this through use of its "Signature Construction Program" significantly exceeds the industry standard for quality and craftsmanship by utilizing such superior construction techniques as structurally reinforced post tension foundation systems, low E windows, radiant barrier roof sheathing, drywall and subfloors secured with screws rather than nails and generous standard features including upgraded cabinetry, granite kitchen countertops, upgraded appliances, vinyl windows, and much more. Our 300+ item quality assurance "Delivery Evaluation" and 2-step "New Home Orientation" processes ensure homebuyer satisfaction before closing and our 1-, 5- and 11-month post-closing follow up Customer Service Appointments ensure satisfaction after closing. Rosewood homeowners also receive a helpful "Homeowners Manual" as well as a special "Homeowner Services" link to our website so service requests can be submitted via the internet.

Rosewood builds architecturally impressive, custom-quality homes in the Valley's finest new neighborhoods. |
Rosewood Homes are not mass-produced production homes built dozens at a time. We typically build 2-4 homes at a time in smaller, more intimate neighborhoods with nearby mountains, parks, pools and outstanding schools. Offering a variety of distinctive architecturally authentic styles, these well-detailed homes are sensitively incorporated into the landscape, providing a custom quality streetscape and instilling an immense pride of ownership. Rosewood Homes have been honored for their livability including indoor/outdoor relationships, innovation, architectural beauty, construction quality, custom quality detailing, energy efficiency and overall customer satisfaction.

Rosewood Homes are built with the environment in mind, providing a positive lasting legacy. |
When you drive up to a Rosewood Home you will immediately notice
the difference. However, Rosewood Homes aren't just well-designed,
well-built homes. Rosewood Homes is also committed to providing a
positive lasting legacy and takes its community stewardship very
seriously. David was one of the first builders in Metro Phoenix
to actively incorporate "green building" practices and Solar PVT panels into its
operations. Moreover, new Rosewood
Homes have been designed and constructed
to meet (or exceed) the EPA's Energy Star
guidelines for energy efficiency as well
as the Platinum Standard from
Environments For Living (EFL).
Today, Rosewood provides among the most energy efficient homes in the marketplace with Rosewood “Emerald Series” homes being up to 57% more energy efficient than current building code requirements and 70-80% more efficient than most “re-sales”. |
